2. If you just need to change your current password, enter in the Current Password field.
Enter your New Password and confirm it in the next fields.
Then, you must enter the Challenge Question from the drop down menu and provide your answer in the Answer field. You have to remember your answer in case you need to reset your password in the future.
3. If you forget your password, click the “Forgot password?” link (blue colour) which will bring you to Have a Question? Window:
• Click the “download the automated password reset tool” link which will bring you to the Intuit website. Follow the instructions and you should be ready with your QuickBooks license number, name, email, and address for verification purposes:
• Once it’s verified, Intuit will ask you to accept QuickBooks Data Service Agreement before downloading the QuickBooksPasswordReset.exe program. Intuit will also send you an email with a token number.
Run the program and you will see the QuickBooks Reset Password Tool window:
Enter all required fields and click Reset Password.
