2.    Checkmark the row if you want to deposit it together with your refund, otherwise leave it unchecked and click OK.
Iif your deposit is not listed in the Payments to Deposit window, click Cancel to bring you to the next Mke Deposits window.

3.    In the next Make Deposits window, on the Deposit To field, select where you are depositing to from its drop-down list.

4.    Enter appropriate date in the Date field.

5.    Enter your memo in the Memo field.

6.    Currency appears when yo have multy currency activated.  Select your appropriate currency.

7.    In the Received From column, choose from whom you receive your refund.  This is not limited from your vendors. 

8.    In the From Account column, choose your account associated with the refund.  It can be from your expense , COGS, or any other account.

9.    Fill in any memo in the Memo column.

10.    Fill in your vendor check number if applicable.

11.    Choose the method of payment (check,cash,debit,credit, etc.) from the drop-down list in the Pmt Mthd. Column.

12.    Enter the amount of refund in the Amount column.

13.    Click Save & Close when you are done.

Note that depending on refund, whether tax is included or not, you may have to record the tax portion of the refund separately.
