2.    Select Credit button instead of Bill.  The heading changes to Credit, the Amount Due to Credit Amount, Terms disappears, and other fields remain the same.

3.    A/P Account appears when you activate multi-currency.  Choose the appropriate account payable (CAD, USD, YEN, EUR, etc.) from drop-down menu.
4.    Enter your vendor in the Vendor field.
5.    Enter date in the Date field.
6.    Enter vendor’s reference number in the Ref. No. field.
7.    Enter credit amount in the Credit Amount field.
8.    Enter memo in the Memo field.
9.    Use Expenses tab and associated expense account if the credit is for non-inventory items.
Use Items, where you have to fill more columns for Quantity & Cost, if the credit is for inventory items.
10.    Click Save & Close when you are done.
