There are 2 options to where you want to save your backup file:
• Online backup
This is a fee-based service offered by Intuit. Clicking the blue link “Learn more about QuickBooks Online Backup” will bring you to its website.
• Local backup
This is to save your backup file to your local disk, CD, flash drive, or other storage device.
Click Next to open Backup Options dialog box:
You can browse where you want to save your file by clicking “Browse” bar. You have to specify other location than your main C drive; otherwise, the program will prompt the following message:
Once you specify your location (other than C drive), click OK which will bring you back to Create Backup dialog box:
Click Next and you have successfully backed up your company file.
